Thank you to the large number of residents of Chirk and the surrounding area who came to my walk-in surgery in the Parish Hall in Chirk on Saturday. I had people visiting me continuously from 9am until 5pm either in groups (the photo below shows one such group of local residents) or individually. Whilst the main topic of discussion was the fire at Kronospan, people also came to talk about other issues as well.
I am following up on your cases and enquiries and, with regard to Kronospan, I will as promised be speaking to the Chief Executive of Wrexham Council next to communicate your concerns which I take very seriously indeed.
