The United Kingdom and Czechia have a historic and strong relationship that was cemented recently when the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, Mrs Markéta Pekarová Adamová, visited the Palace of Westminster.
Simon greatly enjoyed meeting Mrs Adamová (in the magnificent Speaker’s House at Westminster) who is also the leader of TOP 09, one of several political parties represented in Czechia’s Chamber of Deputies.
As the UK looks to the future, it is vital that we remember and respect friendships such as this.
