Simon Baynes, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, has today questioned the First Minister for Wales, Rt Hon Mark Drakeford MS, at the Welsh Affairs Committee on the decision to close the Ffos-y-Fran coal mine.
The mine has played a key part in providing coal for the Llangollen Steam Railway in recent years. This has helped to keep the railway more environmentally friendly as the coal is not imported from abroad.
