Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, Simon Baynes MP, recently attended Chirk Fest ’22 at the Chirk AAA FC ground on Holyhead Road.
On Saturday 25th June 2022, Mr Baynes attended the event in Chirk and praised the organisers, Matt Lee and Nathan Sheil of MANIC Events, on an incredibly successful and enjoyable event. Chirk Fest ’22 featured live music, a children’s play area, funfair, food, drink, activities and local stalls.
During the visit, Mr Baynes met up with Gill Pierce and the Glyn Valley Tramway Trust team and their mini train; Natasha Mwebe of The Little Fudge Box from the Ceiriog Valley and Scout Leader Sarah Harrison of the 1st Chirk Scout Group. He also met with Kirsty Cottam of the Ysgol Pentre PTA and the Chirk & Llangollen Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
