🌈 Penley Rainbow Centre are doing excellent work supporting the most vulnerable people and families in our community. As part of their response to Covid-19, they've been offering:
• Home Visits / Home Care – supporting emotional and physical wellbeing while ensuring people have essentials like food and medication. 🏠
• Welfare Telephone Calls – supporting good mental health and wellbeing, reducing loneliness and isolation and supporting people with any issues that might arise. 📞
• Meals on Wheels service – providing a freshly cooked, nutritious meal which recognises individuals’ dietary requirements - with 5-star food hygiene. 🥘
• Activity and Wellbeing Packs – giving individuals activities that they can complete based on their abilities and personal preferences and using mindfulness and exercise plans. ⭐️
They're a great organisation full of some real community champions and I'm grateful for all they've been doing to look after people in these difficult times.
