Simon Baynes, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, has today signed the Early Day Motion “That this House has no confidence in Mr Speaker” after he ignored the Clerk of the House’s advice (see picture) and effectively enabled Labour’s appalling behaviour today in the House of Commons which hijacked the SNP’s Opposition Day Debate. Labour will reap a bitter harvest for subverting the procedures of the House for their own political ends.
