Great to support Mondelez who own Cadbury’s and other brands at a reception in Parliament today. Their factory in Chirk in Clwyd South is the first part of their chocolate making process in the UK. In Chirk the cocoa beans arrive from Ghana and are cleaned, roasted and processed, ready for the other UK factories.
Thank you to David Mills, Head of External Affairs for Mondelez in the UK, for showing me round the exhibition in the House of Commons and I am looking forward to visiting the Chirk factory soon.
