Great to welcome Rt Hon Therese Coffey, Secretary of State for Work & Pensions, to Johnstown yesterday to support my election campaign in Clwyd South and to discuss the Conservative manifesto pledge to protect pensioner benefits. The basic state pension will go up by 3.9% next year meaning that since 2010 it has increased by £1,900 per year.
