On Tuesday 21st June 2022, Simon Baynes MP attended the Parliamentary Reception organised by the Alliance for Intellectual Property and sponsored by Rt Hon John Whittingdale MP, at which a wide range of organisations were present, including the Motion Picture Association and the Premier League. He attended in his previous role as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport given that the protection of intellectual property, whether it be films or football, is crucial to ensuring the long-term health of our highly successful cultural and sporting sectors in the UK.
Mr Baynes said it was a particular pleasure to see the Premier League Cup in all its glory!
