Simon Baynes MP, Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, has today called for people in his constituency to nominate candidates for the 2024 St David Awards.
The Awards celebrate those who give back to their communities, who are contributing towards civic life and ensuring Wales is a better place to live. They serve as the national awards for Wales.
Members of the public can nominate people for nine different categories, namely:
- Business
- Bravery
- Community Spirit
- Critical Worker (Key Worker)
- Culture
- Environment
- Innovation, Science and Technology
- Sport
- Young Person
The deadline for nominations is the 19th October 2023.
Three finalists in each category will be announced by judges on the 22nd February 2024, with those who reach this stage invited to the Award Ceremony itself later in the year.
