On Tuesday 18th July Simon Baynes, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, chaired the Annual General Meeting in the House of Commons of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Markets to re-establish the APPG. During the AGM, he was delighted to be elected as Chairman.
The meeting was well-attended by MPs from both sides of the House and they were joined by representatives from the National Association of British Markets (NABMA), alongside the National Market Traders Federation (NMTF) who discussed their Market First campaign with the APPG.
Mr Baynes has stated that he looks forward to working more with this APPG to better recognise the important role markets play in the future of our towns and cities.
