Simon Baynes, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, has today highlighted the importance of Levelling Up funding support for Clwyd South and the wider north east Wales region at Levelling Up, Housing and Community Questions in the House of Commons today.
In his answer to Mr Baynes' question, Jacob Young MP, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Levelling Up, outlined that the £13.3 million Clwyd South Levelling Up Fund, which Simon secured from the UK government in 2021, will help preserve heritage and that the recently announced Investment Zone for Clwyd South, Wrexham and Flintshire continues to demonstrate the UK government’s commitment to levelling up.
