Simon Baynes, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, has recently served as the guest of honour to the City of London’s annual Market Boards Dinner held at Grocers Hall.
Mr Baynes was invited in his role as the Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Markets. During the meeting, he had the opportunity to meet with representatives of NABMA, who serve as the Secretariat to the APPG.
The City of London has a long association with wholesale markets and is home to some of the most famous in the UK. Mr Baynes was provided with the opportunity to speak at the event and outline the work that has been done over the course of this parliament to help promote markets and market traders in Clwyd South and the rest of the UK.
