Simon Baynes, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, has announced that he is looking forward to taking part in the Llangollen Canal Walk in aid of Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith on Sunday 24th March between Clwyd South and North Shropshire. Hundreds of walkers have signed up to pull on their boots and trek a 10-mile route along the Llangollen Canal to raise money for Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith children’s hospices.
On Sunday 24 March supporters will take on the annual walk, which begins at the Trevor Basin near Llangollen, before heading over the world-famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site and following the canal to The Poachers pub near Chirk Bank in North Shropshire for refreshments, before heading back to receive their special medals.
