Simon Baynes, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd South, has today outlined that he is delighted by the news that his colleague, Rt Hon Craig Williams MP, will be standing for the new Montgomeryshire and Glyndwr constituency at the next election.
Due to the boundary changes taking place at the next election, this new constituency will include parts of the current Clwyd South constituency – Chirk, Ceiriog Valley, Cefn Mawr, Acrefair, Plas Madoc, Ruabon, Johnstown, Penycae, Rhos, Ponciau, and Esclusham.
Simon has known and worked with Craig in Welsh politics for the last twenty years and has great respect for his commitment to Montgomeryshire and Clwyd South. His considerable abilities have been fully recognised by his appointment as the Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Prime Minister. Simon stated that he can think of nobody better placed to represent and champion our fantastic communities.
